Artichoke Halloumi open face

recipe-header

On the BTD you will soon realize that snacks are a very important part of the diet. As you eat more beneficial foods and "detoxify" your body, you will be hungry - often!
I've had to come up with a number of healthy snacks to feed the monster inside me, yet always watching what i ate to remain fit.
This artichoke-halloumi open face came from the depth of an almost-empty fridge, but a little goes a long way!
Artichokes have a great texture, great to puree as the base of your sandwich, grill or use marinated for more texture. Hot or cold, anything works, so feel free to experiment a bit with the prep.
